Guinness World Records For Waxing

What is design?

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, this is my purpose with this collage intended to explain the design. In it, creative mind merges with the universe itself, drawing ideas itself first, and even giving the idea of self-constructed, and finally transforms these ideas into reality through complex industrial processes. This idea is materialized through the planet that seems to end birth. The right hook is the idea of collecting materials, ideas do not appear out of nowhere, you need to collect raw materials, information and then transform it into something new.
Overall not know where it all begins, is the universe that has created the mind? or else the mind creates universes? I do not pretend to answer this question, my intention was to create an endless circle where everything is based on the continuous creation and absolute, again the story of what came before: the chicken or the egg?

to make this image and give an aesthetic determined final I was inspired by the works of Argentine Mariano Villalba. The planet I've done a tutorial page 3Dm3 , if you want to know how to do just click here . The planet I've added a style ring circle Saturn and giving distorting effects of light.

Art Attack!

three or four years ago I had the chance to try a program called ArtRage, painting a wonderful traditional simulator with which we can work without stain or dirty brushes. Unfortunately at that time had not yet pen tablet to take full advantage.

Today, after spending several months absorbing information about avant garde artists, conceptual art, museum visits and much more, I have not been contained to remember that there was this program and YES now had tablet. I downloaded the latest version of software available on Softonic (the 2.5) and I got down to work. At one point I had this book, with a clear influence of the painter Joan Miró .
I painted the first thing that went through his head, without stopping to think what he was doing. The significance? Reflecting a bit, you could say it is my honor and my revenge while the art world, so wonderful and so strange at times, but in fact even I know. Everyone is free to draw their own conclusions.
I decided to give the title of Art Attack! clearly referring to the television program that relayed here some years ago and because for me, has been a art attack.

The "funeral" Disaster

Cajon Disaster: 5/5/2010 to 1/6/2010
Give me a pencil: 1/6/2010

Very happy with my brand new blog, Cajon Disaster, and overall appearance, was something that I finished like: address was too long (http://jlcajondesastre.blogspot.com).

With "cajondesastre" plain and I would have gone well, but as this direction was already busy with Blogger, I decided to add "jl" at first (referring to my initials), resulting in too long a word to my mind and little hook to the general public.

Recently, my friend Judith Balagueró , graphic designer and of course Flash companion showed me his blog work ( http://quieroundonut.blogspot.com/ ) seeming very original address and much more hook than mine, also have found very interesting blog.

After giving the matter several times without success, I told my good friend and countryman, photographer Xavier León (http : / / lucidalacamara.blogspot.com / ) which I answered without second thought: Give me a pencil !

A lightbulb went off in my head. Was a slogan referring to all issues that could treat my blog: art, illustration , design, creativity and ideas . Moreover, it was easy to remember. After checking availability Blogger, I registered the new address.

Finally had the title header that did not coincide with the new URL. At first I decided to leave it, I did not quite finish the drawer short-lived disaster, but later met with my colleagues agreed that he could not distinctive in the URL of the header title as this could give a feeling of forgetfulness to potential visitors to the blog. It's great to have such contrasting opinions as there are things like this that have worked alone, he had not so much importance.

And finally, was born me a pencil, a blog that I hope to deal with the same love, hope you like the idea. Thanks to all who have helped me, is for you! ;)
