Meditation improves academic performance in math and English
The transcendental meditation technique could be an effective method to improve academic performance in math and English for students with poor performance, according to a study by the University Maharishi Management in California (USA) published in the journal 'Education'.
The study was conducted in a California public school with 189 students who were below the level approved in English and mathematics. The change in academic achievement was assessed using standard tests of California.
